Child Care Scholarship Program
The Child Care Scholarship (CCS) (formerly known as Child Care Subsidy) Program provides financial assistance with childcare costs to eligible working families in Maryland. The program is managed through a centralized vendor — Child Care Scholarship Central 2 (CCS Central 2).
Maryland Department of Human Resources
The Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) is the state’s primary social service provider, serving over one million people annually. The Department, through its 24 local departments of social services, aggressively pursues opportunities to assist people in economic need, provide preventive services, and protect vulnerable children and adults in each of Maryland’s 23 counties and Baltimore City.
Maryland Division of Early Childhood
The Office of Child Care (OCC) works to support and guide early education and childcare so that every young child in Maryland has a strong foundation and will be ready for kindergarten.
Kaiser Care for Kids
In Partnership with Kaiser Permanente the Kaiser Care for Kids program provides free healthcare services to uninsured children who live in Prince Georges County.
Prince George’s County Child Protection Education Unit
The Prince George’s County Department of Social Services recognizes that it is the responsibility of adults to keep children safe. Therefore, they have launched an aggressive effort to train and educate as many adults as possible throughout Prince George’s County.
Prince George’s Child Resource Center
Prince George’s Child Resource Center helps create healthy and nurturing environments for children by supporting their families and educating their caregivers.
